Statement of Faith
The Apostles’ Creed：
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth;
and in Jesus Christ, His only Son Our Lord,
Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended into Hell; the third day He rose again from the dead;
He ascended into Heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God, the Father almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and life everlasting.

About Going Beyond Missions
Going Beyond Missions was birthed in 2018 through the participation of several ordinary Chinese Canadian Christians from various churches in Going Beyond discipleship training and short-term mission trips to India. Over time, it has developed into an independent, interdenominational ministry focused on a unique model that integrates mobilization, discipleship training, and missions to the least-reached peoples.
Our Mission Pathway: Discipleship and Mobilization
Going Beyond Missions leads believers on a step-by-step journey into global missions through two core training programs designed to cultivate a missional lifestyle and equip workers for the harvest.
Phase One: “From Knowing to Transformation” Discipleship Training
Designed by Pastor Will Han, a Canadian pastor with extensive short-term mission experience in India, this foundational training helps believers establish a missionary lifestyle in their everyday lives. Pastor Will shared the vision God had given him with Chinese churches and, in May 2020, entrusted the discipleship training program to Sister April. Together, they launched the first training cohort among Chinese Canadian congregations. Since then, Sister April has independently led the training across multiple churches.
The training spans three months and focuses on equipping believers holistically—spiritually, emotionally, and physically—for their role in fulfilling the Great Commission. Upon completion, participants are eligible to join Going Beyond Online Missions, an initiative focused on reaching the least-reached through digital evangelism. Successful participants receive a Going Beyond Phase One Certificate of Completion.
Holders of this certificate may then participate in a two-week overseas mission trip, organized and led by Going Beyond Missions, to engage unreached people groups through evangelism and church planting.
Phase Two: “Going Beyond Coverage Training”
This advanced training takes place over three weeks in a country among the least-reached. Mornings are dedicated to classroom instruction, while afternoons are spent in real-time field application.
Participants are equipped with a biblical understanding of God’s vision, their personal life plans, and Jesus’ mission strategies. This training prepares believers to serve as coverage workers—long-term mission participants committed to gospel saturation among unreached populations.
Graduates of this training are invited to join Going Beyond long-term mission efforts as part of its strategic vision for global outreach.
Our Legal Status
Going Beyond Missions was officially registered as a non-profit organization in Canada in February 2022. In February 2023, it was recognized as a registered charitable organization by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).
Our Vision
Train God’s people to live out a missionary lifestyle in their daily lives to obey the Great Commission. Build mission teams and send the teams to the least-reached peoples and make 10% of the world population disciples of Jesus Christ. Mobilize God’s church to become missional churches involving in God’s plan. Train church planting teams to plant many missional churches among nations.
